As part of its advocate in finding peace with the enviornment, The Blue Ribbon upcycles unused items into environmental arts and usable items, especially for those with needs.
The Blue Ribbon most recent project is turning large t-shirts and shirts into Bermuda Pants.
In the long run, the organization hopes to produces items that will be conceptualized and developed by a group of market place players who are experienced in visual arts, fabric design, home soft furnishing and manufacturing of apparels.
This upcycling and crafting work will be done by a group of mothers living around Lakeside area in Singapore who love gathering together for the purpose of fostering greater relationships, and members of Families in Transition. The latter were unsheltered and are now hosted by Singapore government.
This sewing workshop is hosted by Lakeside Family Services, Singapore. This project is a corporation between The Blue Ribbon and Lakeside.
